Late last night, before I went to sleep, I saw the headlines:
An 8.8 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Russia.
Tsunami swells blooming across the Pacific—toward Japan, Alaska, Hawaii, even touching the West Coast of the U.S.
I never thought I would make it to age 64. Here I am now one step closer to 65. When I awoke on October 27, 2023 I was inspired to write this in gratitude for this lifetime.
Once I discovered the art of wordsmithing embraced in the chamber of journal and pen, I could not turn back from the infinite arms of this most tantalizing lover.
